Job Summary
The University of Ottawa is seeking a highly qualified instructor to teach acting techniques in the context of technology, specifically the microphone component. This is a part-time regular professor position that requires expertise in performance techniques and their relation to technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach acting techniques related to technology, with a focus on the microphone component.
- Develop and implement course outlines and final grades in coordination with the professor of the camera component.
- Coordinate with the professor of the camera component to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Deliver lectures and workshops on acting techniques, including performance for the camera and microphone.
Requirements
- Five years of experience teaching acting at the post-secondary level or five years of recent and significant professional acting or directing experience related to the course theme.
