Job Summary

Grandview Welding Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Work Environment

Welder Technicians work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, requiring manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • First Aid Certificate and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Steel-toed safety boots and welding helmet.
