Quality Assurance Analyst for Building Automation Systems

Mircom Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team in the Building Automation System (BAS) department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement test strategies and procedures for design verification of network controllers, field controllers, and system configuration tools.
- Design, implement, and manage lab test networks for product testing.
- Perform feature, functional, stability, and regression testing of products.
- Coordinate testing activities with the BAS team and provide feedback to developers to improve product usability.
- Maintain a high level of workmanship quality throughout test cycles.
- Diploma in electrical, electronics, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, robotics, building automation, programmable logic controllers, or related technology.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and works well in a team environment.
- Experience with issue tracking, development, and management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and Playwright.
- Experience in Building Automation, Fire, Security, or similar industries.
- Experience with Building Automation Systems and/or Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Understanding of networking equipment setup, operation, and concepts.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience working with electronic circuitry and engineering lab test equipment.
- Experience with product installation and configuration, including hand tools.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- JavaScript programming experience.
- C/C++ programming experience.
- Soldering experience (through hole, surface mount, de-soldering).
- Circuit debugging and troubleshooting experience.
