Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team at J.J. Sandhu Construction Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, including brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and bending machines
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and at heights. The work environment will be dusty and noisy.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Client focus, flexibility, organized, and team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to perform repetitive tasks, have attention to detail, and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
