Operations Manager

Job Summary:
Doman Building Materials Group Ltd is seeking a skilled Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our lumber manufacturing plant. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires a strong background in manufacturing, quality control, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production activities and set production goals to meet corporate objectives.
- Lead safety meetings and maintain a clean and safe working environment for all employees.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to meet quality, productivity, and reliability standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate inventories, production schedules, and shipping.
- Adhere to all workplace safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven ability to train and direct staff, motivating and developing team members.
- Strong coaching and team-building skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a knack for managing competing priorities effectively.
