About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Risk Coordinator to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various business initiatives. As a member of this collaborative team, you can expect a safe, diverse and inclusive environment, and ongoing learning and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Complete risk assessments, including financial analysis, of potential subcontractors to ensure they have the experience, operational capacity and financial resources required to work with Graham.
- Support the administration of our subcontractor default insurance program.
- Maintain strong relationships and open communication with internal project teams to promote awareness of risk management practices and procedures.
- Work closely with corporate supply chain team to coordinate prequalification process and requirements.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with subcontractors with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, tact and diplomacy.
- Respond to questions from internal and external sources regarding the prequalification and approval process.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in risk management, supply chain management, accounting, finance or similar business-related field.
- CRM professional designation an asset.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in risk management, surety underwriting, finance or accounting, commercial management, or supply chain management role.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain standards of accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Previous knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis an asset.
- Construction industry experience considered an asset.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite.
