About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Professional to join our team at SEA WEB WORKS. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports, including trial balances, income statements, and balance sheets.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with the ability to accurately maintain and balance financial records.
