About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Oakel City Floor Plus Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Prepare Surfaces: Inspect surfaces to be covered and prepare them for installation, including measuring, marking, and cleaning.
  • Install Flooring Materials: Measure, cut, and install various types of flooring materials, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient floor coverings.
  • Conduct Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure that installations meet our high standards.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, including communicating with them throughout the installation process.
  • Work Safely and Efficiently: Work safely and efficiently to complete installations on time and within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, including handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Language: English.
