About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Ortho Rehab Group Inc. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our orthopedic rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
    • Collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Rehabilitation Programs
    • Implement and manage rehabilitation programs for patients with various injuries or disabilities, under the guidance of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Administrative and Support Tasks
    • Manage inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available for patient care.
    • Document patient rehabilitation progress and maintain accurate records.
    • Perform general clerical duties, including scheduling appointments and processing files and paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as physiotherapy or a related health science.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a physiotherapy or rehabilitation setting.
  • Language and Communication
    • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for professional growth and development.
