About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician (Heavy Equipment or Automotive) to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of material handling equipment, as well as diagnosing and repairing various makes of equipment as required by customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine maintenance and safety inspections on heavy equipment and vehicles.
  • Determining the root cause of equipment malfunctions and taking corrective action.
  • Providing expert technical guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with the Parts department to ensure timely delivery of replacement parts.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work performed and customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license.
  • 310S Automotive Technician, 310T Truck Technician, or a 282E Powered Lift Truck Technician certification is an asset.
  • Experience with hydraulics is an asset.
  • Experience with diagnosing and servicing electric engines is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
