Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Tasks:
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
    • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
    • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to remove dirt and debris.
    • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a comfortable and clean sleeping environment.
    • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to guests and residents.
    • Stock linen closets to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
    • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of hygiene.
    • Attend to guests' and residents' requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and professional manner.
    • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
    • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Government Programs:
    • We are a recognized employer.
    • Work Term: Temporary.
    • Work Language: English.
    • Hours: 40 hours per week.
Requirements

To be successful as a Housekeeping Assistant, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
