Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team in the packaging department. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring process equipment and machinery according to manufacturers' and company specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor process equipment and machinery in the packaging department to ensure smooth production runs.
  • Perform maintenance and lubrication tasks on packaging machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures on equipment and machinery as required.
  • Train and assist other team members with complex tasks, utilizing extensive training and experience.
  • Maintain facility housekeeping standards and promote a safe working environment.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practice and sanitary processes, ensuring all applicable federal safety standards and local laws are met.
  • Assist with other responsibilities assigned by management, supporting the overall success of the brewery.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working in an industrial setting, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.
  • Forklift license and experience operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, are assets.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in English language.
  • Punctuality, strong work ethic, and positive team attitude essential.
  • Safety equipment, including steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles, required.
  • Frequent exposure to various temperatures and possible hazardous cleaning materials.
  • Standing, bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling required throughout the day.
  • Manual dexterity necessary for using desktop computers and peripherals.
  • Able to lift/move up to 75 kg (165 lbs).
  • Overtime may be required.
