About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Data Functional Analyst to join our IT Cybercrime Delivery Team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency through data-driven insights.

Your primary responsibility will be to act as a data integration specialist, identifying, analyzing, and documenting business and functional needs of our stakeholders. You will define solutions and write functional data integration briefs for developer teams, including expected system behaviors, use cases, and user interactions with the system.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze business and functional needs of stakeholders
  • Define solutions and write functional data integration briefs for developer teams
  • Assist and participate in the realization of the development strategy, tests, and their automation
  • Participate in the development of robust and stable solutions for all requests
  • Link business needs and technological requirements
  • Analyze data and participate in end-to-end testing
  • Understand current processes and establish target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders

Requirements
  • University degree related to the industry and several years (minimum 3 years) of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent command of SQL
  • Data Modeling Experience (Dimensional Model, DataVault Model)
  • Good knowledge of event flows (Kafka, ETL)
  • Demonstrated experience in business, functional, technical, and application analysis in a complex organization
  • Experience in a banking environment, desirable
  • Hands-on experience with quality assurance testing
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence...)
