Automation Systems Programmer

At CO_84 NCGL Construction Ltd., we are seeking an experienced Automation Systems Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our automation team, you will be responsible for programming and maintaining our industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA systems
  • Develop and implement automation software and custom coding languages
  • Test and commission automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot system errors and ensure all supporting documentation is completed thoroughly and accurately

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Software Engineering, mechanical/electrical engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in PCL programming with the industrial sector
  • Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
