Dietitian-Nutritionist - Youth

Job Mandate

We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic Dietitian-Nutritionist to join our team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal. As a key member of our Services intégrés en périnatalité et pour la petite enfance (SIPPE) team, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and supervising nutrition programs for children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate the nutritional status of clients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Participate in the training and education of students and staff in the field.
• Apply the OLO follow-up framework and the SIPPE integrated program framework.
• Establish priorities for intervention in collaboration with the interdisciplinary SIPPE team and provide training as needed.
• Write progress notes and evaluation reports and record them in the client's file.
• Collaborate with the care team and the multidisciplinary team to improve the client's health status.
• Work with families with vulnerability factors (low income, substance abuse, and history of violence).

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Be a member of the Ordre professionnel des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec.
• Have a valid driver's license and a vehicle.
• Have good analytical and organizational skills.
• Be able to animate groups or workshops.
