Kitchen Assistant

FAT BASTARD BURRITO is seeking a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping food items
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware by hand
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Restock condiments and supplies in serving areas
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
- Assist with food service, including setting tables and replenishing supplies
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
