About the Role:

Goway Travel Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Director to lead and oversee our technology infrastructure and IT operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the organization's systems align with its business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's goals. Collaborate with senior management and department heads to identify IT solutions that support business needs. Stay up to date with technological advancements and ensure Goway remains competitive through technological innovation.
2. Infrastructure & Operations Management:
   Oversee the design, maintenance, and upgrading of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. Ensure continuous availability and reliability of systems, applications, and networks. Manage cloud services, data centers, and on-premises infrastructure. Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and ensure the team is equipped with the necessary tools and training. Partner with HR to recruit and retain top IT talent.
3. Cybersecurity & Risk Management:
   Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems. Conduct regular risk assessments, develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
4. Project Management:
   Oversee and manage IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Work closely with project stakeholders to define objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
5. Policy & Governance:
   Establish IT policies and best practices to ensure data security and system efficiency. Regularly review and update IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (master's preferred).
2. 8+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity.
4. Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects and budgets.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
7. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
8. Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, and IT automation tools.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
10. Operating Systems (Windows Server, Windows 10/11, macOS).
11. Network and Infrastructure Systems (Cisco, Juniper, or similar network infrastructure).
12. Cloud Platforms and Services (Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Office 365).
13. Database Management Systems (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database).
14. Collaboration and Communication Tools (Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange).
15. Project Management Tools (Microsoft Project, Jira).
16. Cybersecurity Systems (SentinelOne, Symantec, McAfee).
