Celestica Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Analytics Director to lead our data analytics team in Toronto, ON.

The estimated salary for this role is $145,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This is a key leadership position responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for predictive analytics and generative AI initiatives aligned with business objectives.

  • Data Strategy: Develop and execute a strategic plan to leverage advanced analytics and AI technologies to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and AI specialists to develop and implement predictive models and AI-driven solutions.
  • Innovation and Collaboration: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team to drive excellence in data analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for predictive analytics and AI projects, from conception to deployment and monitoring.
  • Model Development and Implementation: Design and develop advanced predictive models using machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) and implement generative AI algorithms for tasks such as natural language processing (NLP), image recognition, or anomaly detection.
  • Data Management and Integration: Oversee data collection, preprocessing, and integration from multiple sources to ensure data quality and reliability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record (5+ years) in predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
