Goudreau Personnel by Swinton Ltd. is seeking a skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team in the manufacturing and processing sector. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and equipment to support our clients' production needs.

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet production requirements.
• Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, ensuring alignment with client needs.
• Negotiate offers from suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Monitor progress of delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and suppliers, ensuring a positive experience throughout the procurement process.

• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word, SAP, and MS Excel.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Organized and efficient, with strong time management and multitasking skills.
