Drywall Installation Specialist

JIO CONSTRUCTION LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and sanding seams and joints. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install drywall sheets and secure them to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
  • Cure freshly plastered surfaces
  • Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets to meet project requirements

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials
