Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

At Doman Building Materials Group Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Alberta. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and fostering a collaborative culture within the team.

About the Role:

  • Lead and develop a team of Account Managers to meet sales targets and ensure high visibility with key accounts.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key vendors and cultivate strong relationships with key department supervisors and managers.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales goals, product profitability, and increase market share.
  • Promote effective use of CRM systems among account managers to optimize sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with corporate credit to assess risks associated with existing and prospective customers.
  • Implement educational and technical training programs to enhance the skills and professionalism of the outside sales staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum five years' experience managing, leading, and coaching an outside business-to-business sales team in either the hard goods, wholesale, or CPG industries.
  • Strong ability to assess local market conditions and respond effectively.
  • Proven skills in managing and coaching teams to achieve high performance.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in professional sales techniques with B2B customers and key accounts.
  • Skilled in establishing internal and external relationships to identify and implement growth strategies.
