Job Title: Bartender

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Drayton Chop House. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bar Operations: Arrange the bar area to create attractive displays, clean the bar area, and wash glassware.
  • Serving: Serve food or snacks, advise on wine selection, and provide recommendations on drink selections.
  • Payment and Sales: Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages, operate the cash register, and record and balance beverage sales.
  • Inventory and Storage: Store beverage and food products and enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
  • Drink Preparation: Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Order Taking: Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Serving It Right Certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
