About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OutSystems Application Developer to join our IT Product Delivery team in Saskatoon or Regina. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new applications using OutSystems to support Saskatchewan Blue Cross initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new applications using OutSystems to support Saskatchewan Blue Cross initiatives
  • Ensure systems and processes are current, modernizing and replacing existing systems and processes as required
  • Utilize creative problem solving and technical knowledge to investigate and fix bugs in code
  • Collaborate with other members of the development team to solve complex technical problems
  • Participate in Agile project management best practices, including sprint planning, to improve existing processes and development activities
Requirements
  • Completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of directly related experience working in an Application Development role, and a minimum of 3 years of recent experience working with the OutSystems Platform
  • Knowledge of modern programming practices, common testing tools and processes
  • Knowledge of Agile development processes, experience using.NET or object-oriented programming (OOP) languages, and experience using low-code platforms would be considered an asset
