About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our team at Norsat International Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile and process customer orders and instructions in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Plan and organize operational logistics, including scheduling production runs and coordinating activities with other departments.
  • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing general office duties as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Coordinate traffic flow of supplies, working closely with production supervisors to schedule production runs in a cost- and time-efficient manner.
  • Follow up on issues with work orders, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment, ensuring seamless execution of tasks.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
