Dental Care Specialist

At Adelaide dental, we are seeking a skilled Dental Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for dental examinations, ordering dental and office supplies, and maintaining and ordering equipment. Your attention to detail and client focus will ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting. You will be required to work 30 to 44 hours per week and have a strong understanding of oral hygiene and patient education. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for dental examinations
- Order dental and office supplies
- Maintain and order equipment
- Educate patients concerning oral hygiene
- Polish teeth and clinical crowns and apply fluoride and sealant
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures
- Take and develop X-rays
- Take preliminary impressions for diagnostic casts
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting
- Client focus and attention to detail
- Accurate and flexible
