Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist II, Neuromotor to join our team at BC Children's Hospital and Sunny Hill Health Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert physiotherapy services to clients, families, and the community, focusing on neuromotor rehabilitation and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments using advanced clinical reasoning and skill within the assigned area.
  • Develop and implement innovative treatment programs for clients/patients, applying advanced clinical knowledge and reasoning.
  • Document relevant clinical data, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Assess client/patient needs for specific equipment, including home/lifestyle adaptations, and assist in obtaining necessary equipment.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients/patients, families, and caregivers to foster optimal progress.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Physiotherapy or Rehabilitation Sciences, or licensure with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC).
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience, including one year working with the designated patient population within BC Children's Hospital or BC Women's Hospital and Health Centre, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 50 hours of postgraduate coursework/training related to additional procedures, techniques, or job functions for the assigned area.
