Job Title: Child Care Live-in Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Child Care Live-in Caregiver to join our team at Lorelei Penaranda. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
  • Care for pets and ensure their needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children
  • Help children with homework
  • Cook and prepare meals for the family
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently
  • Initiative and ability to take on responsibilities
  • Judgement and ability to make sound decisions
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Patience and understanding when dealing with children
  • Honesty and integrity in all interactions
