Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Sagittarius Cargo Services.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the logistics operations of our organization, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics plans to prioritize tasks and optimize operational efficiency
  • Organize and coordinate the movement of goods, materials, and equipment
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit reports on logistics performance and operational metrics
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards of performance
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high quality results
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and movements
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in logistics, operations, or a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and heavy workloads
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads, with attention to detail and a focus on safety
Work Environment:

The Logistics Coordinator will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role will require the ability to work effectively in a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
