Overview

Fountain Tire is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Commercial Tire Technician to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, balancing, and rotating tires and wheels for passenger, light truck, medium truck, and commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, balance, and rotate tires and wheels for various vehicle types
  • Complete and maintain safety courses, including Whimis, TIA, and Rim Safety
  • Ensure a safe working environment and maintain equipment
  • Perform specialty tire work, including studding, retreading, and nitrogen inflation
  • Assist with inventory management and documentation

Working Conditions:

  • Team environment with a focus on hard work, communication, and safety
  • Physically demanding role with consistent lifting and standing
  • Unpredictable work environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions

Requirements:

  • Previous commercial tire experience (at least 1 year preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driver's abstract
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
