Job Summary

As a Senior Project Manager at Unitech Construction Management Ltd., you will play a key role in leading and managing construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects meet their needs and expectations.
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance, schedule, and quality.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior project managers and project coordinators.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in people management, with a strong ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Good working knowledge of construction methods, materials, procedures, drawings, specifications, and building codes.
  • Budgeting and estimating skills, including computer word processing and spreadsheet skills.
  • Self-motivated, creative thinking, organized, and efficient.
  • Exemplary English skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, leadership, and team building skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently with a service-oriented attitude, courtesy, tact, and diplomacy under stressful situations with constant interruption.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employment and other designated information.
  • Ability to effectively manage time, responsibilities, and priorities.
  • Project Management Gold Seal certification is a significant asset.
  • Project Management Professional certification is a significant asset.
  • AScT designation is a significant asset.
