About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at PeopleCare Communities Inc. as a key member of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Health Education Programs: Develop and implement health education programs to promote healthy lifestyles and disease prevention among our residents.
  • Manage Home Care Cases: Coordinate and manage home care cases to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide Consultative Services: Offer consultative services to residents, families, and healthcare professionals regarding issues relevant to nursing practice and the nursing profession.
  • Provide Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Supervise Nursing Staff: Supervise and mentor licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care.
Requirements
  • Licensure: Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Work Experience: Experience in a nursing home or home for the aged setting is an asset.
Work Environment

Our nursing home provides a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with a large workload. You will be required to work under pressure and make sound judgments in a physically demanding environment.
