About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Java/Scala developer to join our Data Governance and Data Quality platform core team. As a member of this team, you will design and develop our next-generation Data Quality and Metadata Management platform.
The platform captures DQ exceptions generated by diverse upstream applications in different formats and makes them available through RESTful services for downstream applications to extract efficiently. You will work closely with BI reporting areas and other core team members on DQ rule design and execution.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain tools comprising the DQ platform.
- Closely work with BI reporting areas to generate various dashboards.
- Participate in the development of our next-generation Data Quality and Metadata Management platform.
This role requires experience in Java/Scala development, understanding of database concepts and SQL / Stored Procedures, Unix and Shell Scripting, exposure to Git and Jenkins CI/CD pipeline, Spark SQL, Python, and Agile methodology.
