About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Specialist to join our team at Roy Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and replacing various types of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install or replace roofing materials on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and dangerous environments
  • Relocate to various locations, with relocation costs covered by the employer
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Use personal protective equipment, such as steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, safety harness, and gloves

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in roofing or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependability, reliability, and a team player attitude
  • Willingness to travel and relocate
