Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Associate to join our team at Acera Insurance Services Ltd. in Kelowna, BC. As an Insurance Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting our team by managing administrative workflow, investigating accounting anomalies, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control administrative workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
  • Investigate accounting anomalies, including statement differences and account reconciliations
  • Verify and review policy information and documentation for errors
  • Advise brokers of errors and request re-writes from underwriters
  • Monitor delays in documents to clients and take corrective action
  • Process changes on broker portals and review renewals for missing coverages

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry
  • Strong working knowledge of personal insurance products
  • BC Level 1 General Insurance License with the desire to obtain Level 2
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Business, Sales/Marketing, Risk Management, or related discipline
  • CIP designation is an asset
