Fabricator - Metal Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team at Lifetime Design and Fabrication. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating metal components and structures to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Determine Materials Requirements
You will be responsible for determining the materials required for each project, ensuring that the correct materials are ordered and delivered to the worksite.
Interpret Engineering Drawings and InstructionsYou will interpret engineering drawings and instructions to plan methods and sequences of operation, ensuring that the project is completed efficiently and effectively.
Lay Out Reference Points and PatternsYou will lay out reference points and patterns to ensure that the metal components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Plan the Sequence of TasksYou will plan the sequence of tasks to cut metal most efficiently, ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.
Study Engineering Drawings and BlueprintsYou will study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements, ensuring that the correct materials are ordered and delivered to the worksite.
Assemble and Fit Plates and SectionsYou will assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures, ensuring that the components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Weld or Bolt Sections TogetherYou will weld or bolt sections together, ensuring that the components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Set Up and Operate Heavy-Duty Metal-Working MachinesYou will set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, ensuring that the components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Construct Patterns and TemplatesYou will construct patterns and templates to ensure that the metal components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Install Fabricated ComponentsYou will install fabricated components in the final product, ensuring that the components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Rig, Hoist and Move MaterialsYou will rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring that the materials are delivered to the correct location.
Welding ExperienceYou will have experience with welding, ensuring that the components are fabricated accurately and to the required specifications.
Work Term and LanguageThis is a permanent position, and the primary language of communication will be English.
Hours of WorkThe hours of work will be 40 hours per week, ensuring that the project is completed efficiently and effectively.
