Pillars Transport Inc. - Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Experience an asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Large workload
  • Physically demanding
  • Repetitive tasks
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and long hours on the road. You must be able to work independently and make decisions quickly in emergency situations.
