Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Professional to join our team at Renovco. As a key member of our accounting and administrative department, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll and supplier invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare monthly government tax remittances, including DAS, GST, and QST.
  • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment and accurate record-keeping.
  • Record cash receipts and maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
  • Monitor project expenses to ensure they are within budget and respect margins.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Acomba accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Professional certification in bookkeeping or accounting (e.g. CPA, CMA).
