Job Title: Bookkeeper

Join our team at 2ND WIND BREWERY AND EATERY as a skilled Bookkeeper. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
