Job Title: Robotic Weld Tech

Join C.O.R.E. Services as a skilled Robotic Weld Tech and take on a challenging role that requires expertise in welding operations, equipment maintenance, and process improvement.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Robotic Weld Tech to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our robotic welding cells, troubleshooting equipment issues, and implementing process improvements to increase productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Instruct and Train: Provide guidance and training to employees on the safe operation of welding equipment, set-up, and change-over procedures, as well as safety guarding and operating practices.
  • Troubleshoot and Maintain: Collaborate with the Maintenance Technician to resolve equipment performance issues in a timely manner and perform routine maintenance tasks as instructed by the Welding Supervisor.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements to management to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily welding process parameter checks and inspections to ensure quality standards are met, and report any findings to the Welding Supervisor.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized and secure inventory of perishable supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: College technical education considered an asset, with 3-5 years of related hands-on experience in setup and troubleshooting.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong comprehension skills, ability to read and follow instructions, and a background in manufacturing technology.
  • Certifications: M.I.G welding experience required, M.I.G, T.I.G certificate considered an asset.
