Job Title: Structural Designer Oil Gas

Partner Staffing is seeking an experienced Structural Designer to join our team in the Energy sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating detailed structural designs and drawings for various oil and gas facilities, including platforms, pipelines, processing plants, and other related infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, complete, and check structural/architectural engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with PDS 3D Modeling (Frameworks), Microstation, Smart Plant Review, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Develop structural/architectural models and drawings from conceptual to detailed design using Microstation.
  • Develop 3D structural models using PDS Frameworks.
  • Experience in design drafting of piperacks, stair towers, equipment modules, pump houses, compressor houses, piling, and foundations.
  • Experience with production of piling layouts and schedules, structural steel layouts and details, concrete layouts and details, and architectural layouts and details.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines and vendor information during the design process.
  • Ability to interpret information from vendor drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, existing steel and foundation drawings, etc.
  • Producing drawings with minimum technical guidance.
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma in structural design.
  • 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Knowledge of industry design standards and codes.
  • Strong organizational skills, technical competence, and attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, including process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and piping.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multidiscipline environment.
  • Ability to meet safety requirements to attend site visits.
