We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Reporting Analyst to join our IT team at West Works & BluElephant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing data insights and analytical support to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit requirements for custom SQL objects and report development to support business needs.
- Create custom SQL objects for in-house developed reports and solutions to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain new and existing Power BI and SSRS reports to meet business requirements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and results in datasets and align with stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure high-quality data is available for extraction by developing and implementing systems to identify, track, correct, and prevent errors.
- Participate in database backup and recovery activities to ensure data security and integrity.
- Act as a primary resource for data support, data management issues, and reporting capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence.
- Post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, Data Science, or Analytics, or an acceptable combination of work experience and education in a related field.
- Demonstrated experience writing SQL queries and creating custom objects (views, triggers, stored procedures, tables).
- Strong understanding of Dynamics GP and DocLink database schema, data, and business usage.
- Experience with data analytics and data science principles.
- Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset.
- On-the-job training to set you up for success.
