Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Rush Truck Centres of Canada. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for scheduling service repairs and ensuring seamless communication with customers.
This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and schedule service appointments efficiently
- Provide accurate written cost estimates and ensure timely completion of work
- Create detailed orders outlining symptoms, problems, and required repairs
- Obtain customer signatures on repair orders and establish payment methods
- Monitor progress of repairs and communicate changes to customers
- Review and close repair orders, explaining completed work and charges
- Cross-train as a parts counter person and maintain a positive attitude
- Comply with all relevant Health & Safety and Environmental policies
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
- Previous experience in Heavy Truck, Automotive, or related industry
- Excellent customer service, administrative, and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in software and computer applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- SAP experience an asset
- Criminal Record Check and valid driver's license
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for advancement.
