About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Stagwood Construction Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Earthwork: Level earth to fine grade specifications, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment
