We are seeking a highly skilled Driller Helper to join our team at Driftwood Diamond Drilling Ltd. As a key member of our drilling crew, you will be responsible for assisting our drillers in various tasks related to drilling operations.
Key Responsibilities- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from drilling sites.
- Equipment Operation: Assist in the operation of cranes mounted on boats or barges to lift, move, and place equipment and materials.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on drilling equipment and machinery.
- Spill Response: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants in a safe and efficient manner.
- Machine Tending: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in drilling operations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Health and Financial Benefits: Our company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including dental plan, disability benefits, health care plan, paramedical services coverage, and vision care benefits.
- Financial Incentives: Eligible for bonus payments.
- Work Environment: Full-time position with a variable schedule, including 84 hours per week.
