About this OpportunityThis challenging role as an Electrical, Instrumentation & Automation (EIA) Engineer focuses on Management of Change (MOC) processes, where you will collaborate closely with the client engineering team to plan, execute, and oversee modifications to existing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current electrical and instrumentation setups to identify necessary changes and ensure all modifications are compliant with Canadian standards, Ontario regulations, and safety protocols.
- Oversee and manage all stages of MOC activities, including initial request, assessment, approval, planning, implementation, and post-completion review.
- Communicate regularly with the client's engineering, operations, and safety teams to ensure alignment on change objectives and implications.
- Conduct detailed assessments of existing electrical and instrumentation systems to determine necessary changes or upgrades.
- Design modifications to electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems, ensuring optimal integration and performance.
You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to analyze the technical and operational impact of proposed changes and support clients in liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure all MOC work is fully compliant.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation Engineering, with a focus on change management.
- Proven experience with MOC processes, including planning, risk assessment, design, and implementation.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple MOC works concurrently.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and safety regulations specific to electrical and instrumentation systems.
