Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Gelpac Poly Inc. is seeking a skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our manufactured plastic products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards
  • Adjust processing machines and equipment to optimize production
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to prevent downtime
  • Read gauges to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure
  • Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions from supervisors
  • Apply quality control procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Monitor quality and production levels to identify areas for improvement
  • Examine products for defects to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Complete detailed inspection documentation to track quality control metrics
  • Check and monitor product quality to ensure it meets customer requirements
  • Calibrate components and instruments to ensure accuracy
  • Investigate problems to fix or make minor repairs to equipment
  • Recommend corrective or enforcement action to prevent future issues
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in quality control or a related field
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
  • Ability to work with gauges and equipment to interpret conditions and adjust pumping procedure
Work Environment:

The Quality Control Inspector will work in a manufacturing environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere. The work site environment is noisy and hot, and the inspector will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.
