Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Post Office Assistant to join our team at Canada Post Corp. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell postal products and services to businesses and the public
  • Sort, distribute, and process mail into appropriate classifications
  • Provide customers with information and forms
  • Address delivery and service difficulties to resolve problems thoroughly and quickly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience in business administration
  • Training and/or experience interacting with the public in a retail and/or service environment, including sales and cash transactions
  • Understanding of general or post office accounting systems
  • Physical fitness to lift mail containers up to 50 pounds, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to be available for temporary, on-call work
