Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at THERESE HOFFMAN. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Security and Safety: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Demands: Lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, initiative, honesty.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

Our home is a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.
