About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive public affairs campaigns to support client objectives, including message development, stakeholder engagement, and tactical planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing insights into political trends, campaign tactics, and advocacy opportunities.
  • Work with internal teams to coordinate resources, develop creative content, and align advocacy strategies.
  • Monitor policy landscapes and political narratives to identify opportunities for client engagement and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Track the performance of campaigns and provide detailed reporting on outcomes, key learnings, and next steps.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in public affairs, government relations, political campaign management, or a similar strategic role.
  • Bachelor's degree in political science, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field (master's degree is a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience working with digital tools and managing/developing content for cross-platform digital campaigns and channels.
  • Considerable experience managing and optimizing digital advertising programs across a range of channels.
  • Exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience designing and leading successful public affairs campaigns; strong understanding of the political landscape in Canada, especially within government structures and decision-making processes.
  • Experience in an agency or client-facing role is preferred, though consideration will be given to candidates who have experience managing internal stakeholders through strategic decision-making.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $120,000
