We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at Performance Diesel Injection Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret Welding Specifications: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accurate and efficient production.
- Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to produce high-quality welds.
- Examine Welds: Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications, and make adjustments as necessary.
- Operate Cutting Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) to prepare materials for welding.
- Determine Material Weldability: Determine the weldability of materials to ensure the best possible results.
- Operate Hoisting Equipment: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
